Our Why…
We started this project with a goal to take our current commitment to high quality training and apply it to a community-based free youth theatre program, specializing in musical theatre:
In small communities, often the arts are an expensive and unattainable resource for many families. We feel an obligation to service not only those families who can afford extracurricular activities at our own studio, but to create an inclusive program for those who may not. The goal was to create a free-for-participants, inclusive youth performing arts group for our community. Young performers can participate in a full musical theatre production, with singing, dancing, and acting roles, as well as positions to help with stage craft. (Such as set design building, visual arts and programming, lighting, and learning stage management.) This is at no cost to the participants, and funds raised from our tickets and shows will go back to supporting future productions; with a mind to generate a long-term production cycle. Miss Annastacia & Miss Crystal donate 100% of their time and space to fulfilling this dream.
